Rotterdam Car Terminal is specialized in the handling of cars and other Ro-Ro cargo. Two PCTC’s can be handled simultaneously at Rotterdam Car Terminal. The complete facility is well fenced, asphalted, drained and illuminated. An electronic security system provides additional protection for up to 15,000 passenger cars.Rotterdam Car Terminal is a bonded area and the local Customs officials provide an excellent service. Adjacent to the terminal is the technical car processing center, Rotterdam Car Center, with an additional storage capacity of 12,000 cars, including a multi-storey warehouse with a capacity of 5,000 cars. A number of regular feeder and short-sea services are operated between RCT and countries such as the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Iceland, the Canary Islands, etc. Sailing times are short and frequencies range from at least weekly to often daily connections.
